NVDA still has record inventory. Ditto AMD. Both companies were holding back inventory to maximize profits via pricing (vs higher sales volume/lower prices). Introduction by INTC of gpus will serve to pressure NVDA/AMD pricing oligopoly (the new INTC gpu's aren't great but they are sufficient to serve as a pricing leveler). And, well... demand has fallen off a cliff after 2 years of demand being brought forward. Simply put, these are now technologically stale gpus and should be priced accordingly. Don't forget AMD is also about to announce its new line of GPUs in early Nov. AMD also has a smaller inventory base to clear through so will be in a better position to lower the price on its new gen sooner than later.
Expect 700 to be the floor on these comes thx giving.
