Not really a powerful device, but probably ok for Chrome OS.

I also recommend for someone that just wants a nice inexpensive chromebook.
The keyboard is not backlit. I installed something like these and like them https://www.ebay.com/itm/224650955691
I also put tape like spacers to compensate for the added thickness so the keys would not touch the screen.
The chromebook is on the heavy side because of heavier construction.
Updates until June 2027 https://support.google.
For comparison, this 3:2 screen is about 1/2 inch vertically shorter than a 16:9 14" screen and about 2.5 inches less wide. For some people the a 14" FHD (1080) screen would be better but those will be more than 80 with 4.5 years of updates left.

Only thing keeping me from getting this one is the 32gb storage, 64 would've been way better
Going to try the refurb HP x2 and see how it goes.
