1) This is promotional credit and not Amazon gift card - I think a lot of people think they are the same which they arent.
2) Promotional credit expires vs Amazon gift card does not.
3) Promotional credit has restrictions on how it can be applied and what it can be applied to. My understanding is that the items have to be sold and shipped by Amazon. The promo credit cannot be applied to every product that we buy. (Please correct me if I am wrong here)
4) I prefer the Amazon gift card deals as there are no restrictions like the promo credits have.
On the bright side, if you have a Discover credit card, you can 5% for all Amazon purchases Oct22 - Dec22. Personally, there will be better deals out there compared to this one!
Cheer & Happy Hunting!
Only the SDers who were looking to scam Amazon by using many accounts or that can't read directions are the ones that are mad.
The rest of the SDers who can read the directions got their $10 credit by buying the Amazon $50 gift card and are happy
Thanks OP.
