Only looking to upgrade from the 1st generation Pros if these have much better base and a wider soundstage. Can anyone comment on that? Thanks!

Also, anyone have experience with apple care from Amazon? Lots of negative reviews on the actual product page. I forgot you can just get it through apple.

I bought it through Amazon, I'll have to contact chat to get it refunded. It's only $29 through Amazon, isn't that cheaper than apple?

A lot Better bass anc is slightly better imo
They actually stay in my ear even while lifting weights
I find these to be a good improvement over last gen and better than the new Bose

Walmart price matched. Thanks to you guys for your opinion regarding the improved sound quality. That cinched the deal. Glad to hear these stay in the ear better than the first generation. One more question, are the tips for the 1st generation and 2nd generation compatible? Any difference between the tips or how they connect to the Airpods? Reason I ask is that I did the memory foam hack on my 1st generation tips and would like to use those tips on the 2nd generation Pros. Now, I just need to unload my two pairs of 1st generation Pros!

Good price, but still considering Costco for the 90 day return and extended warranties from Costco and the Costco card. This would cover me for return through Black Friday.

Fits much more comfortable for me vs first gen, ANC slightly improved but not mind blowing so. AirPods Max still offers better sound and ANC. Overall not bad improvement, especially on the comfort of fit, but not wow either.

Another new feature on these is being able to find them even with the case closed. This is a HUGE upgrade!! First generation pros don't have this.
