Mine's different. Shows up fine in the Find My app.
Mines still says on Apple warranty site:

Purchase Date not Validated
Please update your product purchase date by following the link.
Update Purchase Date

After its paired too. But under Settings app the warranty shows really weird.

I have both now. The differences are noticeable both in sound quality and noise cancellation. Like that I can charge the case with my Apple Watch charger and get a pleasant sound when it attaches. I can see some people debating whether it's worth it. It's a bit of a splurge for me. But I'm happy.

That's true. Though that equates to $65 for one year of having them vs. not, which is certainly worthwhile to me.

I bought the first gen the day they came out at full price. If I sell them on eBay used today I can get ~$70 after fees. Three years of usage for net $180 for three years. That's $5/mo and I use them probably ~10hr a day. Probably the best bang for buck apple product I've ever purchased.
No one's going to buy those used for $70-90 please. I just got the Pro 2 and will use the gen 1 Pro as backups. The battery has gotten worse on my gen 1.

So far, I like the extra features on the stem for volume control and I like the audio quality.

Just checked eBay and 70-90 seems like the going price. What could possibly be a better indicator than actual recent sales?

You wouldn't think so, yet my statement wasn't based on speculation, it was based on actual sold items on eBay proving otherwise.

I personally wouldn't buy them used, but clearly there are plenty of people out there who would.

Fair enough..Good luck to ya. I may sell mine as well. I like the upgrades and improved bass on the Pro 2.

Off topic: I can't connect Find My to these. Checked out some resources but will just call Apple tomorrow to troubleshoot this.
