Colors are very accurate on this monitor according to RTings and it scores very well. I use it for everything including gaming and have no complaints. IPS monitors really excel with colors and this one is fast enough for gaming (144hz and 1ms timing).
If you're expecting great HDR, don't hold your breath on this or any other monitor I've seen in the price range. Computer monitors typically just don't have the brightness range to do HDR properly. Will it turn on and be in your games/monitor? Yes. But as pointed out in reviews, it's about as low HDR as HDR allows.
