Forgive me it's my first time doing this and I hope I'm doing it right but if you combine the Amazon early access prime deal with the ultra dock, you can save $170.
Everything I've read says on the internet and roborock's website says they're compatible once the app recognizes the dock.
Cheers

Anyone have this can comment? I have the s7+ and the mopping is lackluster. On a normal cycle, only a small triangle in the middle of mop gets wet and there's still plenty of water left in the bin. Read a lot of user reviews that say the same thing.
I end up taking off the mop and prewetting it and it's much better.
Does the dock or s7 max help with this at all? Would it prewet the mop or does the mop use more water?

No, if you want real mopping get the Ilife Shinebot, the dirty return water tank is the key, otherwise the "mopping" just end up spreading the sticky stuff around the floor when the dirty water evaporates.

The s7 MaxV does a phenomenal job mopping with the Ultra base. With the base, you can have it self clean almost as much as you'd like. Personally, I have it set to do this after each room.
As far as wetting, it does a good job but I've found it takes 4-6 minutes before the pad is fully saturated and at full mopping potential.
yes. unless you have the dock which will wet the pad first

yes. it is not pre wet, it is actually washing the pad so it gets wet.
here is how it works in different senario:
1. robot inside dock, it washes the pad before starting cleaning
2. robot outside dock, but close to the dock, it goes back to dock to wash pad before starting cleaning.
3. robot outside dock and further away from the dock, it will just start cleaning without pad washing.

Does the dock actually prewet the mop before it starts? I don't see the website mentioning that

The answer is yes. When you tell it to go mop it moves off the dock then turns around and backs into the dock. Then it washes the mop pad before it starts mopping which also pre wets the mop pad. You can have it set so that the robot docks and washes the mop pad every 10 minutes while it's mopping.
