750 Pro is essentially the full size 7500 manual with electronic timers. If I wanted timers then I would buy Ascent instead without question. 750 Pro is an old model.
Earlier editions of 750 Pro had a metal finish case and were said to among the quietest. The 7500 hit a low price of 290 last year.
New production:The new 7500 I purchased last year is much noiser than a 10 year old 7500 i have and it runs with more vibration. Buying an original used 7500 base unit for cheap and new container may be the best deal for the build quality.
This vs the Costco Explorian: Costco has the new E520 in the warehouse on sale for $320. Explorian is a cost reduced lightweight model. The E320 is LOUD. I returned mine and would not buy another Explorian. YMMV.
Warranty determines price for me. Transfers free to new owner. Vitamix picked up my one year old 7500 and returned it with new parts and new container at no charge. Will Vitamix continue this level of service in the future? Who knows.
If I needed to replace today I would first look for full size G series 750 Pro or 7500 P for cheap on CL and buy a new container. If no warranty $50 to $75. I would buy an Ascent if I needed automatic operation. I personally would not spend $400 on 750 Pro especially in black.
