Great deal. However, if you type in 65w GAN in the Amazon search, you can find others that have the same footprint and specs with different branding / outside housing. Some even come with USB-IF cables. There are some as low as $10.

Granted, this one seems to have better branding / nice materials and claims IEC 62368-1 Safety Standard. Though in practice, not sure what that really means vs UL.

According to Fakespot just less than 20% of reviews appear legit.

It's a real shame there aren't more deals by reputable brands on items like this. I haven't seen many and none on a charger like this. Anyone else see anything over the last two days?

I was gonna take the gamble but I canceled my order after the voices of reason entered the thread and I saw that Fakespot F.
I bought the Anker 735 that's on sale for $38 right now. Obviously almost three times more expensive but I'm over purchasing essentially throwaway stuff that dies in under a year.

Anyone have experience with this brand?
I bought for $17 not too long ago, it has not given me any issues and I prefer using over OnePlus rapid charger as it charges at about the same speed (slightly slower) but I can get headphones and desktop vacuum charged at same time. Had it for about a year, zero issues.

At that much power you really want a reputable company and charging cable (PD rated.) This could be, but anker hasn't killed any of my devices *yet*

I got this same charger from Verizon for 15 bucks a while ago. It works great, is very compact and light, and doesn't overheat when maxing it out with my laptop. The ports are very low on the brick, but it claims to be made of mostly recycled materials, and includes a bag with a prepaid return label to send your old chargers in for recycling. I'm a happy customer

WOW, gets to the FP......
below are the rules they are imposing on everyone, how this one gets away with only 15 rating

Amazon 3rd Party Merchants

3rd Party Merchants must have over 750 Lifetime Seller Rating.
The product for sale must have at least 25 reviews.
DEs and Slickdeals Staff have the discretion to post deals from sellers with lower rating. This will only happen after they have thoroughly vetted the merchant. Moving forward once they have been posted by the DEs or SD Staff then we know they have been vetted and members are free to post them as well.
If a merchant is large enough/well known, mods have the discretion to allow it even if the product does not have 50 product reviews.
See thread on Amazon 3rd Party Merchants guidelines and discussion here

so the only reason this "deal" post by an unknown brand hasn't been deleted is because the deal was posted by "staff" from slickdeals. lol slickdeals promoting potentially dangerous product is fine but when others post similar stuff like these gets removed in less than 5 min.

GAN chargers are one of those technologies where the cheapest option isn't the best option.

I work in compliance. In my experience, the word "conform" is the most commonly used word to confuse buyers. Having a device certified is expensive and they will usually advertise that front and loud, not tucked away. A device that lacks certification doesn't make it bad (Anker probably the most reputable) but if you value having that safety certificate then this one isn't for you.

I wanted to buy this but after looking at all the comments like your device is going to melt I'm freaked out now! So I canceled.

When's the anker gonna be $15?
