Not sure the question since it says size and weight in the title? Size-wise, this is like a twin bed type. Weight-wise depends on the person, but 12lbs is medium weight. Probably better for kids/youths/smaller and lighter people.

Lol. I meant more along if it's heavy enough and big enough. Your twin bed size answered that question. I'm not sure what weighted blankets are supposed to weigh and or if heavier is better or nor

I've been watching for weighted blankets for a while for my kids. Often times reviewers say the beads inside are an issue for one reason or another. The reviews on this all look like promo reviews. Any one own one? Are you happy with it? I might jump on this one. The price is right.
