just got the iphone XR from tracfone deal for 99 + $15 per month plan. It showing warranty till Feb-16-23.

Also when I text UNLOCK to 611611 . it says your phone will be automatically unlock on 12-12-2022

Depend on what you are trying to do, trade in or get it unlock?

Remember Verizon bought over Tracfone family including straight talk and Totalwireless. So iPhones purchased get unlocked after activation for minimum one month and waiting 60 days. Sometimes you need to call Tracfone unlocking service to get it unlock.

The iPhone XR received include an instruction to activate either through Straight Talk or Total Wireless… thus my extra explanation above.

It activated as a TF without any issues and showed up in my account as a branded TF. I've done the same with Total Wireless phones in the past, they seem to be interchangeable now.

Haven't tried Simple Mobile lately (it might take customer service help), but I've personally activated ST & TW iPhones on TF.
Many users have since those phones are often cheaper than the TF ones.

Could you give me a clue of how can I do it? I have right now a Nokia c200 brand new from ST , and I saw that sim card is from TF , so, it would be great if I can activate on TF and get unlocked after 60 days
