just got the iphone XR from tracfone deal for 99 + $15 per month plan. It showing warranty till Feb-16-23.

Also when I text UNLOCK to 611611 . it says your phone will be automatically unlock on 12-12-2022

Depend on what you are trying to do, trade in or get it unlock?

Remember Verizon bought over Tracfone family including straight talk and Totalwireless. So iPhones purchased get unlocked after activation for minimum one month and waiting 60 days. Sometimes you need to call Tracfone unlocking service to get it unlock.

The iPhone XR received include an instruction to activate either through Straight Talk or Total Wireless… thus my extra explanation above.

They usually ship in a few business days. But if they run out and you're stuck waiting for the next batch, it may be a week or two.

Hard to say. They technically are locked. Total used to be Total Wireless. Tracfone owns Total Wireless, Simple Mobile, Straight Talk, Walmart Mobile, Go-Smart, PagePlus, & Net10. Total has been rebranded entirely to compete with Metro alongside Visible. Idk if there is a way to unlock those. I think only Straight Talk, Simple Mobile, and Tracfone can be unlocked.

Total can be unlocked just like the other TF brands, read the terms.

At least for Google Pixel 7 trade in, it seems the iPhone 11 is the better device to buy and trade in, eg. iPhone XR (while now out of stock) $135 with service plan vs iPhone 11 $185 with service plan; Google offering $410 and $505 respectively therefore it would seem advantageous to buy the iPhone 11 and trade it in, right?

Yes, iPhone 11 is a newer phone and has better trade in value. The iPhone 11 was out of stock until now.
