I'm thrilled with the $50 offer which I signed up for this week meaning I'm paying $54.99 for a year ad-free. Last year I paid $84.99 with the AMEX $25 rebate so would have been happy with that.
The AMEX $25 offer expired 9/15/22 and my subscription was set to expire September 22. I called and spoke to someone to see about how I could get this offer. It wasn't possible, but they said I could get the 40% off by letting my subscription expire and signing back up by the end of October. Then this $50 offer appeared so lucky me.

Maybe something else will pop up on one of my other cards or something before the month ends.
I am sure under some good plans right now, though:
1. ad free peacock for $5/mo.
2. hbo max for 1 year for $49.
3. disney plus for 75 cents per month for a few months.
4. finishing up my 1 year of hulu for 99 cents per month.
5. paramount plus for free month after month.
I don't really "need" ad free on peacock, though, so should probably switch it to the ads one and save another $5/mo.
Either way, this deal from amex worked in getting hbo more money as I really don't need hbo max and did it anyway. lol.
Btw, i didn't even realize hbo max ahs all that boomerang content, such as flintstones. Also several series I want to watch are on there. So should probably be worth it for a year...
