Was going to bite, but then reviews steered me away, even at $200... any other review sites other than Sam's Club? Maybe people's kids trying this product bought at Sam's Club are simply too fat? (no offense, but I noticed it's quite akin to a Walmart crowd in there...).

Reading reviews, it sounds like the biggest flaw is that the attachment point of the hoverboard to the cart frame is poorly designed. The two are held together with velcro straps and there is no way to get enough tension to prevent unintended movement between the two.

Looks like the same Segway hover to go-cart idea. Since Segway is BK, maybe they bought them.

This product has mismatched concepts and is a horrible choice. As a hoverboard alone it is fine. Hoverboards aren't meant to do the quick starts and stops and perform like you would expect a go-kart type toy to perform and it will run the battery down in minutes when you hook the hoverboard to the go-kart attachment. It just isn't going to work.

My kid got a similar one from same manufacturer and sold by Sam's a couple of years ago. We kept it because he wanted the hoverboard but the kart attachment is worthless.

I had a go kart with a predator motor that cost $100 at harbor freight ( I think theyre more now), but it went 32 mph. 12 mph is very very slow, this would be for like super little kids, at a msrp of $499 I don't know if this is really a deal, it seems like a $100- $150 product where they marked up msrp to make the "sale" better
