AMD laptop processors have been better than Intel since the Ryzen 4000 series. Better performance, better battery life, a lot less heat and fan noise.

you checked with Dell about the Amex offer? Not trying to be a jerk, just want to make sure I am understanding you.

300$ laptop + 2x 199$ monitor (+100$ dell giftcard) = $699 + tax

you guys think 699$ - 200$ Dell GiftCard - 50$(50$/100$) - 120$ (120$/599) = 320$ for 2 monitors and low end inspiron. will this be a good deal

This is probably a dumb question, why use regular 3200mhz laptop DDR4 on something like this where APU memory performance is very important, but on my 5500u laptop with a dedicated GPU they used LPDDR4 at 4266mhz? Seems so backwards.

Ended up buying the Inspiron 16" + a filler wireless mouse to make the total $702.xx. Split into two cards, to make sure one gets charged $100, and the rest on the other. So $702.xx - 10% off ($70) - $50 - $50 - $120 - $28 Cashback website = roughly $450 + some additional amex points on Dell purchase.

Pulled the trigger. Got emails for all 3 Amex offers (the two in OP post and the extra +1 mile offer) plus I should also get extra cash back from Dell for my first purchase on new account and a $30 bonus for first purchase + 2% back on one of the discount sites I won't name. All together giving me about $210+ back making this deal pretty slick
I only got two emails. How would I have "enrolled" for the $50 one? I added it to my card just like I did the $120 one, yet I didn't get the email for the $50 one.

I see a credit of 170.59 now. Unsure why it has change in it but I am not going to complain!! So it must have worked!

Ya, I missed out hoping to get the 10% coupon emailed to me on time... oh well. Sure it will go on sale again soon. Maybe not before my $50 off amex card expires though.

It appears to be available again for $599. Don't go via SD. Search dell.com directly!

I grabbed an i7 model of this laptop and used 50OFF699 along with my educational discount. I also split another $100 off on my wife's card and got 3 emails total from AMEX ($50, $50, $120)
