I bought these in 2017 and the batteries were too fat to work in most of my devices. For whatever reason they had a larger diameter than AA batteries should.

Can anyone who has purchased them more recently comment on the size? Also how the newer versions compare to Eneloop?

Edit: Recent reviews still indicate that they are too fat. I would recommend passing on these.

This is better
They were, and for many years were literally rebranded eneloops, but then they changed manufacturers about 4+ years ago and now it's a crap shoot. Always always look at recent reviews for these as they sometimes have decent batches, and sometimes really bad batches.

Seems like they're sending out trash recently as there are many 1 star recent reviews saying they only last 3-4 cycles, battery life far shorter than expected, and someone even had a exploding cell. I would avoid these right now as all it takes is 1 leaky or exploding cell to damage a device to make this slick deal a total pass.

Unless you have a ton of devices, I'd definitely recommend investing in some lithium AA batteries instead of these. I've been using the same 8-set I bought around 5 years ago and they're still working great. The main difference I've noticed is they work until they don't, no power drop in small motors, unlike NiMH.
NiMH hang out near the 1.2V range very well prior to a sharp drop off at the tail end. Where they fail is devices that do not like to be as low as 1.2V. Not sure if you're referring to rechargeable or standard lithium or not but both hang closer to the 1.5V of an alkaline. Some devices are happier with this.

Edit: adding graphs link - it's been that shape for years with decent brands

For $4 more you get Made in Japan Eneloop batteries vs these 12 Made in China. Surely one has a friend, family or co-worker with membership who can order online on your behalf and ship it to you? That's what I did.

So true. Please show me a battery you have had for hundreds of recharge cycles. All mine disappear before the 50th recharge.

how long do rechargeable hold charge? I charge them and next time i have to use them say after 2 weeks the batteries are already drained

Also poor experience with amazon ... i bought it based on these forums but like someone said maybe something has change for amazon rechargeables

Lada seems very precise manufactured doesnt look like cheap chinese stuff (though i think they are manufactured there) ... dont have it long enough to comment though

The crappiest one i had were Duracell (dont know if they were fakes from amazon) and Sony

Amazon is nothing but fakes on popular items.

I've found that the wrapper on these makes them a bit of a too tight a fit for some applications (e.g., LED candles). I had to remove the wrapper (doable in a few minutes without tools) in order to get them to fit.

I got some last spring and they were too fat as well. I tried to force it into the device and it short circuited and overheated. Bad on me for forcing it in, but it still seems pretty bad that this would happen IMO.
