With a helper it wasn't too bad. The armrests and trundle piece are detachable, which helps a lot as you can more easily deal with smaller/lighter pieces (and the armrests are optional btw), plus the main piece is bendy. The hardest part was getting the old one out

I have the grey one too. It's held up quiet well for us. Put it in my office that converts into a guest room when we have family. I honestly like the feel of the bed on the firm side.

God bless your soul, brother. You saved me a big headache. The Haiden was much deeper than I wanted so I reordered with the smaller Monroe. Wayfair has the Monroe with microsuede but fabric will do.
