2x WD Blue 4TB 2.5" SATA SSD - 5 year warranty - $525-530 after Amex Offers, ~$265+tax each - $530

$350 per drive, $50 off with Amex offer (YMMV) is $300 which is already decent, but if you need two of them, 2 for $700 triggers a total $170 (or potentially even $175) back from Amex.

2x $350=700
700-50 (50 off 100)-120 (120 off 600)-5 (5 off 500)=525-530, about $265 for each one.

And some people have discussed splitting across two cards for an additional $50 back, if available. (Plus some cash back potential.)

(These have a 5-year warranty.)

Yes. And powered by Marvell 88SS1074, which is a few years old (what do you expect from SATA?) but not a budget controller. On TLC chips, not QLC. This is probably comparable to a Samsung 870 Evo.

Why all the downvotes?

Is this not a good drive?

Anyone have experience with using these in a server/RAID array?
