MSRP is made up. Avail from manufacturer directly for a few dollars extra. Amazon reviews consistently say very complicated to setup/get working etc. NOT PLUG AND PLAY. Otherwise good machine….
I doubt it. I haven't used this machine, but have worked with some in the past. To do cylindrical items (Pint glasses, Wine glasses, Yeti ramblers, etc) you need a roller for the glass. When engraving a flat item, the laser moves in 4 directions (up, down, left, right) like a printer. When you plug in the roller device, the laser only moves in 2 directions (up and down). The roller controls the left and right motion by rolling the glass back and forth. This ensures the surface of the glass being engraves always stays the same distance from laser.
If you tried without the roller, the image would get warped as the surface of the glass would be closer in the middle and farther at the edges.

Or you could use an image manipulator to change the image to take into account the cylinder shape. May be easier in one respect and more difficult in another

You may be better off finding a makerspace or library that has a proper laser engraver setup.
