This beats the prior FP deal by $15.

Didn't know AMD released __50 revisions. Are they better than the originals?

So I posted this deal an hr ago but someone else gets the credit for posting it 12 hrs ago. However, the only comments are after I started the thread?

Something stinks in Slickdeals land.

This one has a thicker heatsink, pipes, more fins and larger fans which don't have to spin as quickly. The Eagle model is louder.

Yes, good points, this is a little nicer. I don't think it can be beat in terms of bang for the buck at the present time.

I thought I saw your post earlier. SD are a bunch of bootlickers. Can't talk too much or else the MODS will be in in my DMs.

At 1080p, the 6650XT is about 5% better than the the 6600XT and 13% better than the 3060.

If China invades Taiwan, prices will go back up. If they don't, I don't think prices will get out of hand in the foreseeable future.

How is this model compared to the eagle? I recently ordered the eagle model for 265 and saw people talk about the noise issue. Is this one better with noise?

because Jensen said no.

jokes aside, he's trying to strategically keep the current prices from going down (especially low-mid range) by releasing higher end 40xx gpus and lowering the msrp of high end 30xx series. so kinda simultaneously offering 30xx and 40xx as if they were on the same product line temporarily until the 30xx series inventory dwindles down.

you'd think the lower prices of AMD and intel gpus would pressure nvidia to lower their prices as well, but their market share is still strong enough to maintain their position for now.

honestly if you need a low-mid range gpu now, AMD would be the way to go. if the demand for 30xx series drops because everyone is buying AMD, then i'm sure nvidia (Jensen) will reconsider.

Your take on buying this now versus next month?

I wish these could be returned (says replacement only). If I could return within 30 days, I'd buy one now and see what happens next month.

My take is if you can wait, wait. AMD has yet to release their new line, nvidia still needs to release the rest of their 40 series, and Intel needsa bit more time to fine tune theirs.
