I've been searching for a good deal on this for awhile and it's $900 new. I feel like this is a great deal, but maybe I'm wrong?

If size isn't an issue, you might be better off with bookshelf speakers and a <$100 amp and save some money

Just starting to shop around for a new soundbar, is this deal really good or do refurb deals like this come up often?

Edit: I found you can get this slightly cheaper directly through Bose if you have ID.me through your occupation.

Bose refurbished stuff is great, this is a good deal if you don't need DTS decoding

Just get a pair of studio monitors and hook them up through analog output of TV. Make sure TV has variable analog audio output setting or a headphone output that way you can control the volume with the TV remote.

I use vanatoo transparent zeros with a polk psw10 subwoofer. I have the vanatoos wall mounted on the side of the TV using security camera mounts.

Dam! I just got the 700 series refurbished 2 months ago for the same price!!! Feels bad! Bose 900 series sound better than the 700 series in every way.

I have an Arc and sun setup from Sonos. I love the system.

This is supposed to be comparable but which sub goes with it? Does the coupon work on the sub too?

The coupon is good on all the stuff in the Bose eBay store but it has a max discount of $250, so $1250 of stuff. You can use the 500 or 700 Bass Module with it.

I have two sets of the 700 with a bass on each… I would not recommend Bose. The bass model experiences issues with Wi-Fi interference and the bars only work 50% of the time when powering on the TV with e-arch. I have to unplug and reset the bars once a week to get the tvs to recognize them. Very disappointed and I know these 900s run on the same software.

I have had both but prefer Sonos sound profile much better, with tight base and crisp mid and high frequencies compared to Bose, which is louder but not as balanced. Also, they software for Sonos is much better, Bose was buggy and would constantly freeze up during firmware update.
