This is just a really poorly created Advent Calendar. It is just a bunch of low quality plastic crud for over half the days, therefore assuring consistent kid disappointment. The plastic stuff literally looks like it is out of a 25c vending machine egg.

Most of the value here is in the 8x cars, but I'd argue you could go to any store selling them for $.99/each and get 8x far more interesting/diverse cars and still have $7 left over for candy or something. Wrap it all up, and you have a better "advent calendar."

At the $22 retail price this is LOL, at $15 it is still too high, and I'd make sure you set your kids expectations [low] from day 1.

I got this advent calendar several years ago and carefully opened it at the end and replaced some of the crappy things with more cars, since hot wheels cars are so cheap you can add a bunch and the calendar will still be fairly cheap. Going to do it again for another son this year.
