Read Shark reviews for "Error 2" before you buy one. Mine barely worked two weeks and is essentially unrepairable as one of the brushes will not spin at full speed.
Ordered it a couple days back because of the deal. Working fine so far. Its definitely louder in hardwood but is fine on carpet/rug. Only thing I don't like is that it doesn't do a good job at edges/corners..I had a dumb one from eufy that did a better job at edges as it had better side brushes and also it would hit the obstacle cleaning more before learning to move on. This just avoids going to edge/corner altogether because of lidar (which is good but doesn't clean much there). Also not a fan of the side brushes. Too brittle imo.

I've had this one but with the xl bin for over a year. I've replaced one battery so far and one roller brush, about 6 of the round filters in the bin and 2 of the square one in the vacuum. They are all washable but only last a few washes in my experience. My Wife has 2 cats and a dog and it keeps up pretty well. We have all hardwood floor, and tile in the bathrooms and kitchen. so it only has to use the low setting for suction. it does struggle sometimes getting into and out of the kitchen because of the flooring strip separating the rooms. The mapping works just okay. It goes along walls fine, but keeps smacking into my grandfather clock, it doesn't hurt it because of the front bumper but it makes an odd squeak sound front the bumper moving. There have also been a few headaches, it got locked in the laundry room a few times, because the rubber bumper would grip the for edge and close it just enough that it couldn't get out. We also found out the door stops the perfect height to press the power toggle when it goes in there, both issues solved by a magnetic door stop. It's napping also just makes a blob shaped like your home, you'll have to set your own rooms in order to have Google send it to a room, I've never tried it though. When Google added the feature I had to remove and re-add just the one device from our home app.

Pulled the trigger on this deal so I'll update this weekend. The $60 Rove I bought a year ago won't hold a charge so I wanted to get a name brand replacement.
Some reviews say it's loud and has a short battery life.
Those can be deal breakers.
Absolutely true. I have this with the self emptying base. Liked it at first but it's not better than the Roborock I had. The shard does allow you to section your maps out but you can't have scheduled cleaning in a specific room. Also there doesn't seem to be a way to do firmware updates.
These are all of the robot vacuums I tried and how I'd rate em
I gotta say, self-emptying is a game changer. I really would advise getting something with self-emptying; you basically set it and forget it for a month at a time.
I have a shark self-emptying and FWIW, it's been reliable; battery's fine, and I run it 2-3 times a day (triggered by Home Assistant - as far as I know, the app doesn't let you run more than once a day)
