Ha you sound like one of the fake reviews lol
Altman is one of the biggest cacti/succulent distributors in the country, if not the single largest. They supply Lowes/Home Depot on a massive scale. I haven't ordered this, but I'd be sure you get them.

Edit- Actually just ordered a set. At roughly a buck a piece it's hard to beat!
Reviews are pretty poor. The stellar reviews look a bit fake to me.

I received mine, box sat outside for a week. Unpacked them yesterday and watered. Put them in the window and they're happy as shit. Pleased with this. Ty op. Little instruction card comes with tips to care for them. You get 5 varieties, 4 rows of each. Fine with me. Different ones for different rooms.

Succulents are super resilient. You can grow a whole plant from one leaf. Good luck green thumbs

Got this deal and very happy. All 20 arrived in good shape. Be careful transferring—succulents can fall apart pretty easily.

I ordered this for about the same price from another slick deal. All of the plants came intact. There was dirt all over the box since they are sent with dry soil (cactus types so I didn't mind) However, there wasn't a great assortment. Maybe 3 different succulent and nothing with pretty hues like the picture. It also took sometime to be shipped. I forgot I ordered, but key answer is they were alive, no bruises and intact. I made a cute succulent garden DIY for the first time. 1 buck a plant wasn't a deal breaker.
The pretty hues often come from uv /heat/water stress during summer time. If you have a spot outside to experiment next summer you'll likely get some cool colors for a few of them at least. (don't just put them in direct sunlight on the first day though, increase by an hour every day and remove them if they look like they are getting sun burned (dry dead spots))

Got some similar packages last year.

Received in good shape but like others mentioned they are very small. (like waaay smaller than you would guess from the pics)

Did receive alot of duplicates. I bought a few packs at different times and while still got duplicates, each order were duplicates of different species. It seems to be almost seasonal and/or what they are growing the most of at the time. i.e. what they can mass propagate easiest and fastest for given time of year.

Unfortunately absolutely the worst time of the year to plant outside (which is where I have all my multiple succulents.) so I assume most people will be planting theses indoors.

Watering tip - yes, succulents need very little water but some people make the mistake "oh I'll water just a tiny tiny bit every other day" this is totally the wrong way to do it. What you want to do is wait a few weeks even a month and then do a massive soak. This is how they typically receive water in the wild. Hence why/how they evolved for drought and can store water Smilie

Also tip on replanting fallen off leaves - its best to leave them out for a few days until they callus on the breaking/exposed point. This protects it from rot and actually makes them root better.

Happy succulenting!

Among the variety of succulents that came in this package I was told some grow to be much larger than others

As in planter/container?

Anything with a drain hole as they need well-draining soil and do not do well with staying wet/being overwatered. A diamond tip drill bit works great, if you have a container that doesn't have a hold. I've even used plastic/ceramic bowls and cups as a planter.Hope that helps!

Just got mine today. They were packed well. All of mine came in great condition. There were four of each type. I'd definitely get these again. I was concerned given some of the reviews but perhaps has to do with how far they need to travel to get your house.

That's good to hear. Looks like experiences here go against what I was seeing. Good news!
