I think the best value for service is the 10 GB plan, as it's only $30 more for the year vs 4 GB.

I tried to activate a trial sim card from them in April of 2021 and was never able to get data on my phone even though i tried it in multiple different locations all of which had strong T-Mobile network signal and coverage.
I just ordered a trial sim again so i can see if my current phone will now work on their network about a year and a half later (it has all of the necessary signal bands). I remember being very unimpressed with their customer service last time. Everyone that i dealt with was a bunch of guys that sounded like they were working from home in Dubai but literally sitting at a loud cafe with outside seating right next to a busy road while they were working.
I'm curious to find out if anything has changed or gotten better with them in the past year and a half.
I just tried another free Sim card trial today and it worked for one trial call to my home land line and then i tried it again a few minutes later and all calls go straight to the Mint Mobile support line. I called them up and they had no answers other than to reboot my phone and remove and reinsert the SIM card (which i obviously already tried numerous times beforehand). I think they use that as a cop out, knowing you called them on the phone you are working on so it's an easy way to get you off the line an close the call so that you call back and someone else deals with it.
My specific problem is not tower or location related. It's something to do with their service, support, or their ability to automate the phone's configuration to work on their network (possibly something to do specifically with my phone even though it has all the bands necessary and gets data, text/mms just fine). I have strong signal at all 3 locations that I've tried their service at and those locations are at least 8 miles away from eachother and in very populated areas..... just no voice service and their support people don't have any authority or ability to change things related to their server-side network configurations.
