I feel the complete opposite. Prey was amazing. Dishonored bores me to tears.

I felt the same way initially and recommend going back. The game initially is slow and kind of like a point and click adventure at first trying to figure out what is going on and having to access computer screens and very little action. Once you get past that, the game really opens up and I found the combat very challenging and forced to think things out and the game can get very inventive later on.

If you're not looking to add a couple of dollars towards prey, you can also buy the individual games in the dishonored collection and they're discounted to 4.99$ for 1 and 11.99$ for 2nd with the expansion

I'm sorry to hear. Prey was amazing through and through. While you do get more lethal guns later in the game, I found myself using more Psy powers than weaponry...only to then find out later that this affects the ending...😅

I haven't played Dishonored yet, though I've had it since the PS3 Playstation Plus days...

If interested in the dishonored 2 dlc, imperial assassin's pack, there is the death of an outsider deluxe bundle that has dishonored 2 included. Dishonored 1 definitive can be purchased for 4.99 more, separately. If you want prey, that also has a digital deluxe version for 9.99 or base game for 7.49. These alternate deals are good if you already own some of these or the dlc is important to you. These prices are for both Xbox and ps stores. I, myself, am not sure if these are worth adding to my backlog. I played dishonored back in the 360 days and recently played through deathloop. Bethesda shooters always feel clunky with the same cartoonish visuals.

The blob gun is the best gun in the game. Allows you to do a lot of fun stuff, and makes it so you can reach areas you wouldn't have otherwise been able to reach if it were any other game.

That and the contrast between how weak you feel at the beginning of the game vs how powerful you get at the end (of you put the effort in) really makes it feel like there was a point to all the scavenging/etc. you do.

The Gloo Gun is the best thing since Half Life 2's gravity gun. It is not really a gun persay, but a multipurpose tool that allows you to use your imagination to accomplish your goals - you can use it to build stairs to access higher floors, freeze enemies, put out fires, stop arcing electricity, insulate the ground from electricity, use it to open locked doors, block/clog unlocked doors to prevent enemies from coming through, etc.

I used it to skip parts of the game in the beginning and get weapons/neuromods and accomplish objectives earlier than if I was playing the game linearly.

Dishonor 2 was so hard. Kept getting stuck at the little bridge area with several people. Dh 1 was amazing and I bought all of the DLC packs. Such a great game.

Prey is a masterpiece IMO, but Mooncrash is really great! Played Prey on release but only got to Mooncrash earlier this year and really, really enjoyed it.

Just started playing Deathloop and you can see a lot of its DNA in Mooncrash actually.
