Might be helpful for some - this is roughly the width of two 27" monitors side by side. When I was thinking about replacing my third monitor I BRIEFLY thought about a 49 but ended up going with a 34 as my primary monitor and dual 27's as my secondaries. That said, this monitor is excellent and has great reviews everywhere.

I hope so I jumped on it and had BB match it only because I had $250reward cers expiring soon and some giftcards that covert it ,but I made a mistake thinking that BB holiday returns policy was in effect ,but it wasn't .
I Googled it and it was showing last year's which started on Oct 18th
Amazon has it with extended holiday returns, I am going to just postpone pick up until the last minute and return and rebuy if it is still on sale on Amazon when the holiday returns policy kicks in or before my rewards certs expire (Nov 12th)
I wonder just how low this thing will go.
I was a bit off put by a lot of the reviews though, seems like a lot of QC issues but I think maybe they have refreshed it since
But even still the pixel density is low and it does have a screen door effect and the backlighting sucks and black levels are poor ,I had to go to a microcenter to see it because nobody had it on display
The thing is that a 2 16:9 monitor setup would have better pixel density and I could get much better IPS display panels than this mediocre VA panel but then I would have the bezels and I love the curve and the immersion of no bezels and the high refresh rate but the picture looks washed out and you can see pixels
But there are not many 1000r curved monitors to pick from and not many on the works , maybe the Corsair xenon flex but it also has its drawbacks and will be priced higher , The neo G9 honestly didn't look much better side by side with the G9
Certainly not enough to justify it's much but price.
I just wish there were more to pick from
IPS or OLED 32:9 with 1000r

Just a heads up: Samsung ultrawide monitors, especially the super ultrawides like this, are a MASSIVE gamble. Treat this as a possibly fun toy, not something that's going to work and be reliable from day 1. Samsung's monitors have constant, consistent problems with scanlines (lines that appear on screen), signal flickering, the screen completely blanking out, etc. They only offer firmware updates on the G9 series, and those updates will fix one deal-breaking issue only to replace it with another.

If you happen to get lucky and you get both a good panel AND your specific setup happens to work properly with it, Samsung monitors are fantastic - as you can see from the reviews. But it is very, VERY common for them to be essentially unusable no matter what cables you use, what PC it's plugged into, etc. I was one who ended up in the second camp, and after returning the monitor for replacement twice, I gave up on them completely and will never buy a monitor from Samsung again. I have never before, in my life, had a monitor not simply work 100% out of the box. Samsung was the first.

For reference, I've been building PCs for more than 15 years and have gone through, who knows, probably 40+ monitors in that time. This is not a case of user error, and you can see proof of that by looking through the reviews. Even the *positive* reviews say these things are finicky and might just not work.

Previous G9 owner here, I can attest to Samsung's QC issues with these ultrawides. It took forever for Samsung Support to get to me. When they did, they first attempted a repair, when that didn't work they tried to offer a replacement. Couldn't get a replacement so they offered Store Credit for the Samsung Store (I purchased from BB in cash). I ultimately decided on the 4K G7 28" with some extra towards other items and haven't looked back.
