Was it in a special section, how was it labeled, what store did you see it at?

Nope it is just at the tool section. HD website does not show it but their own employee app showed the discounted price.

Indeed it is. But considering the same company that makes the units that have come with the SLA for years, does not make these newer ones with the shortened warranty, that probably makes sense.

Unfortunately OP the apps don't yet allow you to add images Frown Hopefully one day.

But if you want to add an image yourself, you can either go to the desktop version of your thread on your phone and add it from there. Or if you can't do that, you're welcome to email the image of your receipt to me (to my username, widgit, @ slickdeals.net) and I can add it for you if wish. If you choose to email it to me, then please quote/reply to me here and tell me that you've done so, so that I know to check my work email Smilie

Good deal. I got the previous model then returned it since it was damaged in shipping. I ended up actually getting the new Skil table saw instead ($270 at Menards - https://www.amazon.com/Portable-J...203&sr=8-5) and do not regret it one bit. It's very well designed. Basically a copy of the DeWalt but half the price. Holds zero well. The fence isn't heavy duty, but it has a better design than the rigid and will be more accurate.

Biggest downside is that making a zero clearance insert was a chore but I learned a lot. I think it'll hold up well until I someday take the plunge into a hybrid table saw... If it use it enough!

I have the same Skil and I was going back and forth between that and a $299 Ridgid. I'm very happy with the Skil. I bought a 4 pack of blank zero clearance inserts from Amazon that works well, probably pricey for what they are, but I got lazy. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

I hate the blade change wrenches, so I bought a 21mm ratcheting wrench just to do blade changes to use on the outer nut while still using the skinny open end wrench. If you ever get into dado blades, skip the Mibro set. I got that cuz it was the cheapest and I figured that it'd be fine for a beginner like myself...they don't cut straight at all. Returned them and got the Oshlun set and I'm very happy with those.

Jealous about those blanks. They weren't on the market when I was starting.

Can you send a link to that wrench?

Btw, does your riving knife come all the way out without having to remove the two hex bolts? I saw videos of it being removed as the channel is open in the videos, but my knife is closed at the bottom. I had to remove the whole assembly when I did the zero clearance insert.
