Mission Viejo CA best buy has an excellent condition 77 inch G2 for $2250 if anyone is interested. I was tempted but it's a pain to upgrade and move around older tvs. C8 OLED is still working flawlessly.

I got it for $4300 shipped with no tax from verde toe last month. I felt it was a decent price and didn't want to wait around for black Friday.
Can you please give me site URL, I am not able to find verde site in google.

Got an offer on the verde toe site for 83" g2 of 4349 no tax. Is that good? Never used that site before should I jump on the first offer or counter?
No. No warranty if not from authorized or if it's not closed-box

Appreciate seeing the price drop tips for Dec (holidays) and Feb (after Super Bowl).

Last June the G1s were an additional 20% off; will that happen for the G2s in 2023? Would prefer the 77" over the 65", but $3K is a psychological barrier. 😅 And the 77" G2 deal happens to be the worst % discount on BuyDig among the C2 and G2 at 65 and 77.

77" G1: $2500

Is this an open box unit or something? That is the best price I've ever heard of on a 77" G2.

Don't expect to get any customer service. The Koreans who answer the phone for Lucky Goldstar will give you an endless runaround until you give up.
I've had good experience with LG warranty so far. And surprisingly Best Buy. Got my 55" G2 for only $1125. 😂 new in box, not an open box.

June pricing all depends on what stock is left over and how badly they need to move it...impossible to predict. 77G2 is probably sub 3K at this point if you look on AVS forum and call one of the trusted dealers on there and get the best price without giftcard/warranties that can't be posted publicly. (hint: buydig is one of them). The Lowes deal that comes in and out of stock on the 77G2 is $2750 after the 10% off coupon that you can buy for a few bucks.

So you apparently you can't call a BestBuy store, they run things through a national phone service now and there is no way to talk to the store. Not sure when they switched to that but it sounds like it has been a while. I called in and they said the TV isn't in stock there. I'm wondering if it actually is and inventory isn't updated. There is a second on the website to check for open box items and the TV isn't showing up when I select that store. If I could just talk to someone at the store and verify it is actually there, I'd drive my ass the 2 hours down there to get that TV at that price in a heart beat.

What's the difference between this and the G1?

The G2 has an updated panel and a bigass heat synch on it so they can overdrive the panel without killing it.
