The best use case I can think of is if you are traveling and only have a USB-c charger with you, this will let you charge your iPhone along with your laptop, iPad Pro, and others.
I would not buy at this price.
1) You can't overnight charge it like you would a normal wireless charger if you have battery protection on since it requires "activation." My phone will stop at 80%, turn the charger off, and since the phone doesn't have hands, it can't retrigger when it's getting ready for me to wake up to charge the extra 20%
2) 5,000 mAh isn't a ton. I enjoy it because the iPhone Mini's battery is so tiny, but due to the inefficiency of Qi vs a wired connection, don't expect a 1:1 charge ratio.
3) It's a really great idea and despite the drawbacks, I don't usually leave home without mine.

This one does charge at 15W wirelessly but it does get quite warm if you leave it attached for awhile. There's an option to turn off wireless charging and plug in a (short) cable for wired charging which is what I plan to do when I travel with this.
Was hoping it would have been could competitive with the Apple MagSafe as the cheapest I was able to get them at the time was around $60.
Issues were, weaker MagSafe attach and a failure to work with an Android phone to wireless charge(LG V40 ThinQ) which the Apple MagSafe has no issues with.
Plus is that it's USB-C.
Overall, ended up grabbing a few more Apple MagSafe chargers when they dropped to $50 a while ago for Certified Refurbished and they have been the primary packs for the family phones.
I still use this as a backup to those or as temporary power for an iPad when corded for peak power rate avoidance or when I'm not near an outlet.
It does work fine on the MagSafe iPhones though for most use.
i wouldn't buy another of this model presently, but at this price (or lower) it's starting to look a bit more appealing.
