I have a pass-through adapter to plug it into a lightbulb socket on a porch light.
Lowest price for this was $49.99 via Best Buy for the black version.
i have this exact camera. Its firmware is not stable, RTSP stream can error out for no reason (you will need to manually turn if off and on again to restore the stream), motion detection is also overly sensitive even at lowest setting, app is semi-useless (good luck setting up activity zone that actually works).
it does work like 80% of the time, just when it doesn't it is a hassle.

Curious how people are getting power to these? I believe it comes with a 20' USB cord, but at some point it needs the power block to be plugged in to 120VAC. I like the fact that it's powered so no battery recharge required every n months or so, but not at the cost of cheeseballing the USB cord through a window or door somehow.

i have this camera for over a year. Setting is AI human detection only, but it sends a lot of notifications on moving tree shadow. A reboot usually resolves false alerts, but i have to reboot few times every week
The magnetic base of this camera is very weak. A thief just needs to hit the camera or the wire with a stick lightly, and it's detached

I have mine mounted above the garage. I just drilled a small hole through to pass the wire, and ran it up to an outlet by the ceiling. It helps that I've got a detached garage.
As other posters mentioned, it can get a lot of false alerts and sometimes they're delayed (I think in part because it's a detached garage with weak wifi signal) but overall I'm happy with it, as I wouldn't deal with a battery up on an elevated location.
It goes on sale for this price occasionally at Best Buy (where I got mine).

I have outlets under my eaves for holiday lights/string lights.
I really like these. Bought a few when Best Buy had them for $50 each. Fair points about the cord length and finding power; I ran one garage camera cord in a gutter and connected to an extension cord and one backyard camera cord to an extension cord from an outside outlet.
One thing to remember - the CORD and connection to camera is waterproof, but the PLUG/BLOCK is not. So, I had to find a way to waterproof the block connection to the extension cord, so that can be a pain if water does somehow deep in and short the block. Solution was just to swap out the block, but it was a pain.
The motion detection can be a pain sometimes as it tends to pickup incoming car headlights and shadows a lot. But having a high-quality recorded stream available for playback was a big plus for me.
This is a real good camera. I have a bunch along with a bunch of ring. ( I am preparing for the purge 😀). I like this more than ring. But the right price for it is $50 or below. I would wait for that price before buying
Only thing good about this camera is the 24/7 recording. Besides that I get a ton of false alarms and notifications even set at human detection only. Only ring has been the most reliable for me for not giving false or missing alerts.

Yup waiting for these to be at $50 again. I bought 3, one is busted already. In the shade, maybe 1-2 light showers.
