Got these in nov 2020 for $24.XX

I've worn them around the house for break in. Leather is hard. Overall not too pleasant.

Prob wouldn't buy again at any price. Haven't worn them outside yet.

How do these Cole Haan Loafers compare to other brands like Johnston Murphy, Florsheim, etc? Since they are final sale I want make sure they fit right. Some reviewers say the run too small. I've usually found the opposite of that to be true with loafers. Size 10.5 seems to work best for me even if they do fit a bit tight.

Sigh i have no idea on sizing so went TTS at 9.5. im 47 and do like loafers but dont have any tassel but for $25 (im a teacher) why not. i like the color and as i get older no laces is a good thing haha. Thanks OP

I bought Cole Haan "Pinch America" loafers (what a name!) a few years ago. Without tassels, of course.

Those, like the loafers linked here, were sewn to last, not glued. Heavy. True to size. They make decent driving moccasins.

The leather sole gets scraped on the asphalt quickly, FYI.

Thanks to the OP. This is a great deal / steal. Cole Haan makes quality shoes. These have leather uppers, leather lined and partial leather shoes. This style is very versatile. Can be casual wear or a sporty business / dress.

Not a simple answer, depends upon the style / line of shoes. I have Cole Haan, Johnston Murphy and Florsheim. Each make different grades of shoes with different leathers and soles. I consider all to be quality shoes. This particular shoe is one of their classics and a steal at $30. In 2014, bought the black and burgundy on sale for $75 each and felt it was a bargain. The only minor complaint some might have is these are not calf leather so a little stiff when new. OTOH, the upper is a quality thick leather. Will last for years.
