Just received my batteries, called regarding the inflator and was told that it was an error. They sent out an email about the inflator, which I didn't received. Since the inflator is out of stock, discontinued and no longer will be restocked, only option is keep the batteries or return. Chose return.

I have yet to see any proof that an e-mail was sent out.

Nothing wrong with returning the batteries for a refund, but they are hoping that's what everyone does, then they only have to eat shipping costs for their mistake, and honestly I would have probably gone along with doing just that if they A) didn't like about a phantom e-mail and B) scrub the inflator from my order history as if I don't have it in my confirmation e-mail.

I also didn't like that I wasn't notified and had my inflator removed, but is there another option other than keep the batteries or return?

Worst company ever. Received just the battery. Customer tried to convince me that the battery alone at that price was already a good deal so that I can keep the battery. This is a terrible company I will never buy anything from ever again. There was no email to apologize for their mistake.

I didnt receive any email about them cancelling the promotional part of the order. I doubt they sent out emails to people who they shipped the batteries to, then unethically removed the promotional part of the order(free inflator)

These guys sent me 2, 2-pack 3.0 XC batteries and no inflator. I was originally going to return the inflator at Home Depot since I already bought it not too long ago and keep the batteries. Did I come up on this because they forgot to send the inflator? Or should I try to have them send me the inflator anyways and return?

I am preparing a complaint to the Ohio attorney General under ORC 109:4-3-03. Can someone send me a screenshot of the deal?
I am also from Ohio and was shafted by this deal. Is there anything that I can contribute to this complaint?

The original email from Norther tool does show the "Inflator as
Backordered Online and will ship within 30 days" I am already on the phone disputing the charge with my CC.
I also purchased via Paypal, The basterds can deal with the charge backs, even if I have to ship back the bats. This place constantly sells tools and supplies overpriced, screw them.
If I had a set of old bats to send back I would try it but I don't.

I filed a dispute as well. They have the inflators I am sure. They can send them out or refund my money. Hopefully this is enough of a lesson to teach then not to ship a partial order at full price. I can accept a full cancel and refund, shipping half of the promised order at full price is bad business.

I don't understand how some of you reported them offering you 50% refund. This is not the answer they're providing to me (and looks like others from recent comments).

What's the next steps? Just request a refund from them, or work through Paypal or Credit Card company to take action that way? At this point I just want this to be over and move on.

Let's all Report them to Milwaukee
https://www.milwaukeetool.com/Sup...ulent-site

I reported them

My buddy is the on the phone With them and the manager is stating this was a mistake of both Milwaukee and Northern tool. Milwaukee provided the promotions.

They are doing nothing to help compensate for this. They acknowledge its a mistake but all you can is return the item.

Keep calling and try to be as nice as you can. I got 50% back. It's a legit offer but NT over sold it. I got a friend on my fb showing off he got the inflator. He ordered it when it showed in stock.

The only reason I bought this was for the inflator. The batteries themselves are kind of a rip off. You can buy 2x 6.0ah batteries with a charger at Secondipity for $100 "Like New". I bought Ryobi batteries from secondipity before and they appeared to be new.

https://secondipity.com/like-new-...d-charger/

I just cannot believe that Northerntool has the audacity to offer a Free with purchase promotion, then cancel the "Free" part after shipping the "with purchase" part.

They should have just ate the loss, on the batteries that they shipped. They must have know they oversold the promo, because they were cancelling orders before they shipped my order. Now I have to waste my time and effort to ship this back for their mistake. Screw these guys. I am not going to call and be nice. They should fix their mistakes without putting the burden on the customers.

And to remove it from customers order histories without any notification, is just despicable.

Question. Did anyone that ordered early actually get an inflator?
I never received the email of cancelation so I am curious.

Thanks

Ordered within an hour of posting, all went through fine on line then called due to no delivery for 6 days and they said they cancelled because Milwaukee stated it was not a valid promotion, would not honor their promotion.
