My 2 cents. I bought the olive color one last time, it ripped at the handle seams, targus asked me to ship it to them on my dime and it was not worth the $9 I spent on it. Don't put too much hope on it.

For 15.6" laptop, the bag should be a big one, but the design makes it look like kind small.

Does anyone off hand know if any current Targus backpacks have the waterproof cover that is stored on the bottom of the backpack?

This seems funny at the beginning, then my phone got the "homicide suspect" alarm (yes, we got one just some minutes ago). I am completely sad now.

I've bought a different targus designed backpack from the Best Buy deals where they were like 6$ and it's still going strong after about 4-5 years

I bet to differ. I've bought two Targus sale backpacks (think I got that olive one as well) that I've been using for travel, work, and overall general use. They've been holding up pretty incredibly for a couple years now. Especially given the amount they've been through. And, at this price I have nothing to lose.
