For those that want to know, the inverter uses modified sine wave. The USB-A ports share 12w and the USB-C port charges up to 45w at various voltages/amps.

Camping? no, I work in construction and hang this on my toolbelt charging my tablet or phone, powering lights etc.

Thanks. I've been waiting for a deal on the inverter. I don't need the battery or charger but I doubt the inverter alone will get much cheaper. And having an extra 2ah battery might come in handy if I get the Ridgid heated jacket for winter.

Any idea how efficient the invertor is or how long it can provide power for a 60 watt soldering iron with a 4ah bat?

Basic formula 4ah x 18 = 72. 72 / 60 = 1.2 hours. Maybe 80% efficient = ~ 1 hour.


This is definitely Bad Ass.

How many watts coming out of the sub c?

I just checked the online manual and it is 45w. doesn't have pd or eMark chip.

I don't know, I really like the idea but I wish it was 50 or less for just the inverter
