Had this laptop for 3 months before upgrading to a macbook on the recent Costco deal. Loved it while I had it, some answers for faqs i saw:

Battery life: (close to 10hrs) It dropped 10% per hour with moderate web browsing and Excel, but I never let it go below 30% so don't know past that
Screen: 300 nits is a bit low, but the screen is still gorgeous otherwise. The fact that it's matte makes it better outdoors than most
Gaming: ~140fps on League of Legends 1080p and ~80-90fps CS:GO on 900p stretched low. Might be able to push a bit further if you play with the power settings
Speed: Startup times and application start times are lightning fast, honestly faster than my M1 Pro Macbook.

I still have the laptop in case I want to revert back because right now it seems on par with my macbook despite the mac being much heavier. Hope this helps.

This is different from the previous deal I posted a couple of hours back.

Found out that you can actually configure the laptop and get it for cheaper using different coupons. The SSD and OS can be upgraded later on down the road so it's not necessary to pay for them right now and better to invest in a better screen which can't be changed after buying.
The screen is QHD on this one vs the FHD+ on the other deal.

16GB and I never use my laptop in the sun so this is the perfect deal for me. Been waiting for a 6800U at this price point.

This actually seems like a super good deal overall. I am not seeing anything right away that looks bad. Does anyone know what the approximate battery life would be for this laptop? I am trying to find a laptop with 10+ hours of battery life based on standard internet browsing and some minor Youtube watching.

Edit: Seems that TCB for Lenovo is at 9% right now. Would be a good chunk of change back.

add some 5% further by verifying id.me student account which amount to further $37. Looks like a really good build, if this can be shipped and charged before Nov 14, then that AMEX offer make this ultrabook sub 600.

just jumped in for one and returned the Lenovo 7i carbon which was about 90$ more with a lesser CPU (i7-1260p) and inferior graphics (Xe vs 680m)

Which screen would be better for light gaming? I feel like the lower native resolution would look and perform better.

I'm not familiar with ID.me -- do they actually verify or do I just need an edu email? I have an Amex blue and don't see a Lenovo offer which type of card are you seeing it on?
