Covering inland and near-shore coastal areas of the continental U.S., plus Hawaii and Bermuda, C-MAP Contour+ charts feature high-res bathymetric 1-foot contours, fishing points of interest (POIs), standard navigation data and updated custom depth shading.
Also, the embedded maps don't seem to qualify for 12-months of free updates.

I paid $550 six months ago for a Helix 7 SI/DI gps map G4, and now, also looked at this deal due to features and larger screen size. To me, the YouTube screen videos of the Ti2 Elite 12 look cartoonish and not nearly as sharp, nice or clear as the Helix. The Helix screen is excellent. I also use the Helix 7 Autochart to create my own maps, or live update current map, and it works great.
If I had to choose to buy one today, I would probably go with the Lowrance just for the 12' screen since my eyes aren't as good. But I would not switch from current Helix 7 to this one as I still can see everything on the very sharp and detailed smaller screen (today)...

I suspect $600 "on-sale" 12" units will be the new normal.
Putting giant depth finders on your boat is the new normal now.
