They're both great TVs, but the C2 is definitely a better TV. The C2 has better color accuracy, and gets a good bit brighter with HDR content, making HDR content "pop" much more. Whether it's worth the extra cost over the B2 is entirely dependent on the buyer.
Did you read rtings top 10? This is number 2. Great for the price.
I think this may be the deal I've been waiting for. Do you think the C2 is worth the price? I'm not gaming with the TV. I'm coming from a 55 inch B6, and have wanted to go bigger. What are the differences between this and the C2? Both are 120 Hz. I think all of the HDMI ports are 2.1 on both of them. Otherwise, I believe it loses some gaming features, which are not beneficial to me. What do you guys think?

By BF 65" OLED's sub 1k? Great deal regardless. Lots of bang for the buck here.
doubt it... BF type of discounts typically apply more to low- to mid-end products.

Agreed - however, if all you do is watching movies or TV shows, esp. in a dark room, and don't game... then the B series is a great buy.

Ugh I've been eyeballing this. Just got the $500 LG from Costco and the edge lighting is horrible on a dark screen.

This has a better rtings rating than the C1. I don't watch much TV and I'm actually happy with the $500 one minus the crappy edge lighting.

Should I buy this? It looks great in store. I can almost guarantee I wouldn't notice a difference between this and the C2. I just want a quality TV for a good price.

The $500 one does the job, but I'm not thrilled with it. I always end up lured into the B2 display model though at $1500. I'm ready to bounce on this.

Edit: there goes $1300. I said earlier if I saw this TV on sale I'd buy it. I don't game, and will primarily be watching movies in a dark room. It looks incredible on display.

The 77" is also $2300, not bad if you couldn't get the c2 deal.

I think the 77 will come down in price. However, I still just bought it from Costco - $100 streaming credit, and $500 back on $3k spent. So prorating that cash back and including the streaming credit it's like $1850

This B2 can do it for me. Except I like to get it from Costco with its 5-year warranty and the $100 streaming rebate.

there's an open box b2 77in at my local bestbuy for $1807 which is honestly pretty great price given how close b2 performs to c2.

Ugh yeah I've had that in the back of my head and seeing your comment made me cancel my order lol

I wonder if Costco will price match, or I'll just wait until it goes on sale there as well.

I get 5% back on my Amazon card but I think I'd rather have the warranty.

The B2 hits 700 nits of brightness in a 10% window vs 800 nits on the C2 in HDR mode. The B2 actually gets brighter in other variables. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this over a C2 if the savings are $400. I would pay $100 extra to purchase at Costco with their Visa for the warranty. Which is usually the case. I would not consider Woot a reliable source for pricing on TV's. They are returns and not warranted by LG the first year.

It's $1500 at Costco, or are you saying their card brings it down to a $100 difference? I don't have that unfortunately. They don't price match Amazon?

I would pay $1399 at Costco. More if you get a Costco spending credit. You definitely want at least a 2 year warranty on these more expensive sets. Costco doubles up on that. They don't price match anyone.

It's $1499 for me unfortunately. I guess I'll just wait and see if the price comes down.

I'm scared to spend that and only have a 1 year warranty ordering through Amazon.

One year from the manufacturer, and most credit cards will add a second as a cardholder benefit.
