XPH14 drill and XDT16 impact driver kit with a free router, charger, and battery x2. And yes, another free tool among the list. Seems a super deal.

The first free tool is in the combo, and the second is optional. There are other combos choices. (Sorry, using my phone, not gonna list them all there)

Some Stores still have the drill kit marked down to $350, and the promo works even though it isnt advertised in store yet. I got the drill kit, jigsaw and ratchet for $350 plus tax yesterday.

Got this in 2019 when I started my tool collection. I went with the (subcompact) reciprocating saw and multitool (got to choose two at that time). I use the drill, impact, and reciprocating saw all the time. I've beat them up a bit and they have held up very well. You definitely can't go wrong with Makita although it is a bit expensive. They have a few lemon tools that just aren't good, so I've been going with Ryobi for those, and using this [amazon.com]battery adapter so I can stick with just the Makita batteries.

You also can't go wrong with Milwaukee. They have a consistently great selection of tools and in my experience there is a better selection of wearable Milwaukee parts in the US, although I personally haven't had any major issue finding Makita stuff (Amazon exists which helps).

I was at HD yesterday, they are setting up their holiday deals. Store is packed with boxes right now. My guess they gonna run the same special for months like last year for the holidays
