This was $599 just two days ago (I posted it).
No reason to buy this. Rather wait for another price drop.

Advice, kindly check the forum before posting.

Yes it was $100 less a few days ago but it no longer is available at that price. I bought it a few weeks ago at $729. Since Walmart refuses to price adjust on their own products I bought it so I can return one and save $30. Fingers crossed it goes down to $599 again during my return window but if not, at least I saved $30.

Yes, this was indeed $599 a couple of days ago.

One thing to keep in mind when thinking "wow, a 3060!" is that it's only 95w. This will really limit the performance of the gpu. Also, lots of 1 star, "died within the first....." type reviews. Bang for buck looks nice, but that bang comes with some caveats.

Nothing wrong buying now at $700 if your looking for a 3060. There is no guarantee that it's gonna hit $599 again. Could of been a pricing glitch who knows. Was only available 2 hours? I bought one at $699 yesterday.

Bought one when it was $729. Upgraded RAM for $40 and added a 1TB NVME drive for $60. While it may be a low power RTX 3060, it's still a beast compared to everything at this price ( other laptops at this price have much weaker GPUs). I'm getting 67 avg FPS on Cyberpunk benchmark with DLSS and RT on! 110 FPS with DLSS on and RT off… in Cyberpunk! Anyway, I'm happy with mine and wanted to share.

It was available for around 4 I reckon.

Not a price glitch. People were able to buy it without reporting such a thing.

Also, wouldn't really consider it smart buying something which has been, not a couple, but a whole $100 cheaper literally 2 days ago. It's still a fine deal at this price but one should definitely wait for it to be cheaper, which it surely will be.

I think yesterday's price drop to $599 was a fluke. Kudos to anyone who was able to scoop one up for the couple hours it was $599. At $699 this thing is still a fantastic deal.

Walmart has some issue with their reviews. I posted a 5-star review (twice). Still doesn't show up. Some people will get bad products it happens. You can return it. (Also you have to put the power cord all the way in until it clicks, this is the culprit for some people thinking it was DOA).

The ones I bought were Team group. I found the Team group NVME drive on sale one Amazon through a post on this site. The RAM you can just buy a 2nd kit to match the installed one the Specs are 8 GB DDR4 3200 MHz, Sodimm Ram, CL22, 1.2 Volts. You can get a single stick for less than $30 on Amazon or New Egg. I opted for a 16 GB kit (2 X 8 GB). Team group Zeus same specs listed above. Just search on Amazon. Last I checked the kit was now $44
