Nest Wi-Fi was a nightmare and actually completely quit on me a few weeks ago. Support was useless and strung me on for two days having to use my mobile plan. I would run fast and far away from Google/Nest Wi-Fi products. They just don't have a clue and they have no desire to support their products or their customers in any meaningful way. I learned this the hard way.

That being said, I still have a number of other Google hardware products. Just can't trust them with my Wi-Fi.

I upgraded to these from a Google wifi nest mesh, and I am very happy with the improved performance! Them adding Ethernet ports back is also a big improvement, and is the only reason I'm going to run a 3 mode mesh instead of 2, which would be plenty.

I would do it if you have internet more than 100mbps. I have 1st gen google wifi, nest (2nd gen with 1st gen now). It doesnt have the range as the newer one. I current am not using the google/nest because range isnt the best. Internet speed is suffered by range. I have a gigabit line though.

Im using the wifi 6 router/modem combo provided by fiber company but at the other end of the house its weak. I plan on upgrading but do not want to spend 😂

They perform well.
I hate the google home app. Way too simplified with no funtions.
If these have more than 1 ethernet ports it would be great.

I just placed my order. I got the email, but didn't read through it. Thanks op. Upgrading from the nest wifi. I have a couple devices that support WiFi 6e and a 1gb internet connection.

I hate mine. I got it to replace a 5 year old orbi system. They Orbi system was just as fast and had better range. I'm taking it back. Very disappointed.

Would love for someone to DM me their promo code if they aren't going to use it.

It should be in the source file of the checkout and look like this:

"promoCode","02YINTNFB16V327ZZYC2D2M&quo

Thanks.
Won't work. All past account specific promo codes are tied to the email of account. Doubtful Google changed it

If you're getting around 80-90% of your paid isp speeds on your connected device & stable connection, NO. Unless you love the looks ofc, then it's design. I do wonder how many people upgrade to the latest router when they are already getting max speeds and no connection issues with current set-up.

Router world can be boring for tech enthusiasts. Tempting, but it's something hard to justify, even just to have latest and greatest

That's just for the electronics they list. Routers are not included on that list so they're not capped at 90 days.

so I had ordered a 4 pack from costco then got this offer and ended up going with a 3 pack. Tried to cancel costco but it already shipped. Costco's is getting delivered today and Google's in getting delivered sunday. I don't know if I can wait 2 days ughhhh. Assuming I can return to costco even if I open them up right?
Why are you going to screw over Costco? Yes, I know it isn't illegal and their policy lets you return even if you open it, but really, I hope that you moral conscious kicks in and you don't do this. Just wait an extra 24 hours.

The right thing to do is to just refuse the Costco delivery and that way you don't have to go to the store nor deal with returning it. Then, they can sell it as brand new (and only be out the shipping costs one way)
