But, it's not worth the money, relative to the Quest. It's not hugely better. The passthrough for AR is grainy and hugely disappointing. As of now there aren't many developers/games taking meaningful (to me) advantage of the new features offered by the Pro. The one big improvement for me is the inside/outside tracking on the controllers, before if you had a game where your hands are often at your side the tracking would just suck, and now it's good (not as good I think as with external lighthouses/etc. but good). When I think I could buy 2-3x Quests for this price I get angry.
I haven't tried any of the updated competing offerings, so can't compare Quest Pro with those.
I guess basically I'd say... if you've got something else, you might want to wait until the price comes down, or a competitor has something better.
