This is a predatory product that depends on renters being poor and dumb and not being good at paying their credit cards off on time. They want you to get behind so they can charge you 29% apr on thousands of dollars of rent balance and make you even poorer.
Please avoid this card.
If you are not able to pay your mortgage month to month then yes… you will struggle to pay a credit card as well.
Not sure why that's mentioned with a credit card that allows you to pay your rent with…
Due to the recent changes, there will be bounced checks, deducts that won't go thru, rent that won't get paid.
Do you have a backup ready? Do you have a checkbook, cash, maybe even another credit card to pay the fees?
Spent the last few weeks making all kinds of changes after have been locked in for years....and, I'm gonna be pissed it there are problems. Because for me, this is unforced error. I did what was asked, I continue to get emails saying my setup is not complete, the instructions are sometimes confusing.
Can't wait.....

Yeah. Curious to see what happens. I have multiple properties and added the mortgage all up to get the pre-authorization amount.. but wondering how the payment processing will happen now
Yes. At least that's how I interpret it as well…
I prepaid my rent for next month (my landlord portal allows me) and then disabled my autopay with this card. I don't wanna deal with this 5 day hassle and the new possible payment issues that are some reddit users are reporting.

Apr 28 -Morning Requested and received new Rent pay checking account and routing numbers. I also entered a rent amount $500 more than what I normally pay
Apr 28 Morning - I entered the acct and routing numbers in my landlord's rent portal. They use 1 micro deposit for verifying new accounts
Apr 28 Evening - Got SMS from Bilt with the micro deposit amount. Entered it in my landlord's rent portal to complete verification of new account
May 1 Morning - Went to my landlord's rent portal and paid the actual May rent using the new Bilt rent account. Landlord's portal shows rent due $0
May 2 Morning - Received email from Bilt that my rent has been successfully paid. Logged into Wells Fargo credit card account and it shows the same rent amount with status "Pending". I'm assuming the status will change to "Complete" by tomorrow.
Hope this helps. If all goes as expected, I will set the Bilt rent amount to auto authorize.

The credit issuer is Wells Fargo but they can't help with anything beyond fraudulent charges.
Overall a failed product and walls are closing in on them with many property managements move off of their network.
