So this is WILD. I called Best Buy and was told they aren't price matching. Then I called Best Buy again, gave the sku, told them it was the iPad Pro 2021 128GB and staples had it for $599.. she tells me "The SKU you gave me is $599" I refreshed on the Best Buy site, still shows $699 so she helped me to process the purchase at $599

How weird.

Checked the Renton, WA store this morning @ 10AM when it opened because it was on the listed stores. There were 4 other people also waiting to get the same iPad Pro 11. Staples did not have any in stock and did not have plans for any. They did have a display model in the back that they would not sell. This feels more like a ploy to get people in the store given the lack of inventory with no plans to ever stock it.

In Cleveland, Best Buy price match. Just FYI m2 iPad is only $100 more. Still went with m1 because I don't see the need of getting m2.

M2 pro is $799, so $200 more. The benefits of the new one aren't worth $200 so getting the M1 for $599 is the wise choice if one can get it at that price.
