I use the panel almost exclusively for my indoor painting. Drywalling, and tile work. I don't drag out the 2-light LED work light very much these days. I hav the spotlight too, it's a great thrower, and other than using it outside for spotting things that are far away, it also good in those situation where you can't get light into your work area, and when a headlamp is inconvenient. Set this back behind you and blast light into the area.

This is a stellar deal -- get it, don't think twice, run don't walk. If you change your mind, return it to a brick n' mortar location.

I have the previous generation of the three panel light and the Light Cannon. These newer models improve upon them in almost every way.

This is a downright steal, black-friday-doorbuster level. I remember getting older factory reconditioned versions from Direct Tools for around $40 each (panel and cannon). To get the newest models for $43.33 each? That's beyond excellent. And these have LSA unlike reconditioned tools.

For comparison individually, the current going rates are -- the light cannon is $100, the three panel is $140, and the stick led is $50.

I also own the light stick, from the stick + 2ah battery + charger = $60 deal a few weeks ago. They're a great light to keep in the car with the Ridgid air compressor. Or on your workbench for very flexible directed task lighting. $43 for just the tool is a fair/ok deal, though not as "hot" as the $60 three piece combo. This is better if you already have extra batteries just sitting around.

I bought two sets of these -- one for myself, one as a gift.

Description clearly states "Tools Only". Based on the normal tool only price for these three, this is a good deal. In general, tool only items are targeted toward those that already own one or more battery. Sort of like saying that a deal on a video game isn't good because you don't own the console/hardware required to play it.

Wish I could use my RYOBI batteries with these. Only thing I could find is a sketchy 3D printed adapter. Looks like you can go from Rigid to RYOBI pretty easy though. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know

Well maybe they do work for Rigid but it is still a good deal for three lights including the panel one specifically. You might be waiting an eternity if one expects 3 lights like this to include batteries too for around $130 bucks.
Obviously most people thinking of pulling the trigger here will already have batteries (from some prior slick deal probably too, lol).
