Thanks! I've been waiting for a sale on this. This is the best SSD you can get in this size at this price. Faster than the Evo 970 Pro and even the 980 Pro. It's a tad bit slower than the popular Hynix Platinum which costs $60 more.

Most importantly, it has a much larger RAM Cache vs the 980 Pro

We feel comfortable in saying that as it stands today, without factoring in DirectStorage as we understand it, Western Digital's WD_Black SN850X is overall the second-best performing SSD available in the America's (Plextor's M10P is only sold in Asia).

Western Digital's newest member of its legendary "Black" series is an absolute dream for gamers or anyone that values real-world results over marketing fluff. BiCS 5 may or may not be the best-performing flash currently in circulation. We couldn't determine that concretely today as hoped. However, we determined that the Western Digital WD_Black SN850X 2TB is really as good as it gets, eminently TweakTown Elite, and worthy of our highest award.

Anything is possible and you would think SSD's will trickle down in price but the questions is really how long do you wait if you need one? There will always be a better or cheaper one i you just wait a few more months.

As long as this is one of the best on the market you will pay a premium for that. This deal makes that premium very little and as such it's a great deal IMHO

I'd pick the Hynix p41 or Kingston KC3000 before the black.

I'd wait for Black Friday if you can wait.

Most people will use this for PS5. But the question is, does anyone have many games to fill this up?

Hynix is $60 more and only slightly faster. Dunno about the KC3000

This SSD version does not have a Heatsink. If you are considering this for a PS5 you will want to get the version with a heatsink or purchase one seperately.

the version with Heatsink is $249 and the coupon does not appear to work with that one.

OOPS... Promo code SSBX2832 is not eligible for this order and cannot be redeemed.
