Yes, it will work. Keep in mind that as with every external storage device for PS5 it will only keep PS4 games on it(to play from). You can put PS5 games on it but cannot play them from an external drive.

I was thinking of this as an option to back up my wife and 2 children's iphones to free up space on Icloud. Is this a bad decision or can anyone recommend a better bulk back up option for the scenario I described? FREE REPS ! Wink

NO , because the laptop I have doesn't have much storage...like 500gigs.... I just dont know the fastest / most common sense way to make backups at home so I dont have to pay more than the $3 / month we're already spending as a family on Icloud....I hate monthly bills regardless of how small they are.

It sounds like you are using your computer to take the backups from your phone and transfer them. If that is the case then this should work to keep backups on.I don't know how frequently you would transfer them but it should work. The below link shows how to do it on a mac.
