Good price for the specs, but I would not recommend buying a 3050ti currently, especially combined with a higher resolution 2560x1600 screen. GPU will struggle to game at that resolution. Bad GPU match for the screen. Minimum should be a 3060, and even then, I'd recommend a 3070 or 3070ti for 2560x1600 gaming.

Not trying to thread crap, just more of a heads up for people.

Yes, I should have mentioned that. Lowering to a non-native resolution on a gaming laptop is not ideal though. Can be scaling and image quality issues with that when compared to native resolution. I think a quality 1080p panel would have been a good match for a 3050ti.

I disagree. Downscale gaming to 1080p and enjoy the desktop in the top resolution. Solid deal.

How are you getting all these discounts via Amex? I always see people posting additional discounts via AMEX, but I'm not sure how they are doing it, please advise. I have a Southwest VISA rewards card for flights, but I already have over 250K points and I practically never fly, so maybe I need to switch my card to something else that makes more sense.

All I can say is every card has its own perk, for me it was just finding the opportunity and use it at its best. If you have 250K points, that itself is worth $4K if used on southwest.com. so, you need to wait until you plan for fly. That when you would celebrate the value of these points. But if it was me, I would never use that card alone for all my spending. I would have get some other chase card that has straight 1.5% cash back. Southwest cards are purely for flyers or someone who just wants to use its initial bonus. After that either cancel the card or just stop using it.
