Yeah, and it's so much better. You can use your existing game libraries from steam, epic games, gog, origin, ubisoft. So you don't have to pay for it again. Useful for me to play games on the go with just my macbook.

I'm not a new user and the deal worked for me. I just ordered it.

I'd been a paid member before, but was currently on the free membership.

I was using Stadia for a bit before, but it's shutting down now (another Google project shutting down, what a surprise), so I guess I'll be doing my gaming on Geforce Now going forward. I don't game that much, so I don't want to buy an Xbox or PS console, but Geforce Now will fit the bill nicely for me.

I asked the same question and the GeForce Customer service rep was cryptic, saying the renewal rate "may change." But I would plan on getting charged the full rate once your 6 months is up.

That's the downfall to all of these game streaming services. More walled off gardens. I really wish Shadow PC can get their shit together and put out a competitive offering, their model of streaming the entire PC is so much better in this regard.
