Or pay with Chase Freedom Flex/Freedom (Original) via PayPal to get 5% back. Both offer a slight advantage over RedCard, as RedCard will only offer 5% back on the $80 charge for purchasing the $100 Games and Grub card (as Target charges the $20 promo Target gift card separately since Target Gift Cards don't get 5% back thru RedCard).

Think your reasoning is right, but you aren't purchasing an $80 card here, you have to actually purchase $100 grub card then get the $20 Target on top of it. Unless I'm mistaken that's how I'm seeing it.

But the way target charges you on the backend is $80 for Grub GC and $20 for target GC

BE careful to check if you received what was stated before you think you've completed the deal. I've never had an issue with Target GC's arriving before. However, the last time this deal popped up Target didn't send one $20 credit but claimed they did. I tried to argue with customer service but they claimed it came. It was the deal with the extra $10 and I ordered two so they snatched back the extra $20 on the low. It was shady.

the gift card doesn't work at MS, but you redeem the gift card to buy an Xbox gift card which then can be added to your Microsoft account and be used to buy hardware or software from MS.
